Mark Wilkins, M.S.

Adjunct Professor of Mathematics

Mark Wilkins is a native San Diegan who defied local customs by joining the Navy. He spent six years on active duty serving as a machinist mate on a nuclear-powered submarine during the end of the Cold War--fun times. After the Navy he attended UCSD where he worked his way through an Applied Math degree by tutoring other students. Upon graduation, he was offered an engineering position, which determined his course for the next thirty years.

He is married with two daughters, and has been actively involved in College Avenue Church for the last twenty-five years. He sometimes sings in choral ensembles, studies theology, surfs, and hikes. Although he probably spend the most time dining with his friends and family.
