Mission and Calling

Many voices. One shared calling.

One Mission Anchoring All We Do

The unity between mission and calling is essential 鈥 it is the balance between a body of Christ working together towards one shared mission, while each member of that body has been chosen to pursue different callings, driven by varying gifts, talents, and interests.

The Office of Mission and Calling equips the university to cultivate a vital Christian community by weaving our Christian mission through academic programs, student experience, and institutional operations inviting faculty, staff, and students to participate more deeply in God's ongoing work of Christian formation.

Our mission at 国产剧麻豆剧 is to provide higher education in a vital Christian community where minds are engaged and challenged, character is modeled and formed, and service is an expression of faith.

Our Mission in Action

The university will embody a shared Christian identity in which students, faculty, and staff are formed by a Wesleyan-Holiness understanding of faith and calling 鈥 knowing who we are, growing through shared practices, living with vocational clarity, and leading with Christ-centered purpose.

Know

Our community of 国产剧麻豆剧 is continuously deepening the understanding of our Wesleyan-Holiness identity. From faith-focused workshops to integrated reading plans, each constituent can work towards a fuller understanding of carrying out our heritage.

Grow

Learning practices, frameworks, and understanding cannot be achieved alone. With a faithful community and body of Christ, our spiritual disciplines can be practiced together.

Live

While fostering a community of understanding and growth, members of 国产剧麻豆剧 can carry out discernment of vocation and embody faith in daily life and learning.

Lead

As minds are engaged and challenged, and service and character are cultivated, mission and calling is rooted in fostering mission-centered leadership to pass on to future generations.

Dedicated to Spiritual Formation

As far back as the Great Commission, our calling is lived out within community. Our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage guides how we make Christ the center of our lives.

Whether students are in the classroom, playing on an athletic team, or finding connection with God in quietness, they experience the intentional spiritual guidance that鈥檚 only possible through education founded in Christ.

Spiritual Formation

鈥淲e don鈥檛 just prepare students to succeed in a career, we help them discern how to live lives of purpose, service, and Christ-like love.鈥
