WHO
For 38 years, more than 3,000 国产剧麻豆剧 students, staff, faculty, and alumni have served in 70+ world areas. Teams typically include 8-12 国产剧麻豆剧 students with two faculty, staff, or alumni leaders. A key principle of the LoveWorks program is that we only go where we are invited. We work with ministry hosts we know and trust who have a long-term presence in their countries; their work makes our short-term visits more meaningful. Because each location is unique, our training and preparation are focused on the specific location鈥檚 needs. This provides confidence for teams to serve effectively.
HOW
LoveWorks provides robust preparation and training for participants, including weekly training on Tuesday evenings from 8鈥�9:30 p.m., from late January through April, and a weekend training retreat in March. Full participation is essential for preparing you to serve well and building a strong, connected team. Pastors, congregations, and missionaries recognize LoveWorks鈥� long-standing commitment to sending well-trained, culturally sensitive, and flexible teams. This trust often allows our teams to serve in challenging and remote areas through cross-cultural, relational ministry. When applying, please include any documented special needs or accommodations you require so we can place you in a setting where you can serve effectively.
WHY
LoveWorks is committed to walking with you long after you return home. In many ways, the end of your trip is just the beginning. Some alumni are inspired to serve long-term in the church or around the world. Many LoveWorks alumni say their experience has changed the way they travel and see the world for the rest of their lives. Serving and learning alongside our sisters and brothers in the global church can inspire a lifetime of growth, commitment, and calling.
ADAPTABILITY
As part of the LoveWorks experience, students leave their smartphones at home to practice being fully present with our host community. This digital fast encourages trust, flexibility, and meaningful relationships.
LoveWorks will provide for your needs, but we ask you to set aside personal preferences, including graciously receiving the food your hosts provide, within the limits of any documented dietary or medical needs.
COST
We keep LoveWorks鈥� costs as low as possible. The cost includes all team transportation, accommodations, food, and ministry support. There are no overhead or administrative charges. Raising support for LoveWorks requires dedication, hard work, and faith. We will assist you throughout the support-raising process.
Generous scholarship funds are available for students with financial need who participate fully, work hard to raise support, and make a personal sacrifice. Scholarship applications and awards take place after the trip.
